Literature
has its place inside of every soul. It was asked of me before starting
this project, "do you beleive that the arts are a necessity for a society,
or are they simply a bonus?" I pondered the question thourally.
I soon came to the conclusion that every society has its art. We cannot
simply float through our existance without some force showing us the beauty
that does and can exist within every human. It displays hope for
a constantly failing mankind which, in the eyes of most artists, has always
held more within themselves than they were allowed to display. I
make this site to honor those who have shown us exactly what they could
not keep from the world. Those with a light so strong that even death
could not hold their message back from the public eye. Whether they
wrote the slow literature of a eithteenth century classicist, or the upbeat
writings of our multi-genred age, we are indebted to them all.
